Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (4,035 m)

Start the day by climbing the spectacular Barranco Wall. Although steep, it is a rewarding and exciting section of the trek. Continue through valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp, allowing time for acclimatization. Hiking Time: 4–5 hours Accommodation: Karanga Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,640 m)

Trek through alpine desert landscapes to Barafu Camp, your base camp for the summit attempt. After lunch, rest and prepare your equipment before an early dinner and a few hours of sleep. Hiking Time: 3–4 hours Accommodation: Barafu Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) – Descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 m)

Around midnight, begin your summit attempt. Reach Stella Point before continuing to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement, take photos, and enjoy unforgettable sunrise views. Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Mweka Camp. Hiking Time: 10–15 hours Accommodation: Mweka Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Return to Moshi

After breakfast, descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your summit certificate. Our driver will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved shower and celebration. Hiking Time: 3–4 hours Accommodation: Hotel in Moshi (or airport transfer if departing the same day) Meals: Breakfast Departure Depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport for your onward journey. If you plan to continue with a Tanzania safari or Zanzibar beach holiday, we can arrange those services as well
