Day 4: Kikelewa Camp – Mawenzi Tarn Camp

The trail becomes steeper as you climb toward the dramatic cliffs of Mawenzi Peak. Arrive at the beautiful Mawenzi Tarn Camp, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. Spend the afternoon resting and acclimatizing. Elevation: 3,630 m to 4,330 m Hiking Time: 3–4 hours Accommodation: Mawenzi Tarn Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp – Kibo Hut

Cross the alpine desert between Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. Reach Kibo Hut in the afternoon, where you will rest, have an early dinner, and prepare for your summit attempt. Elevation: 4,330 m to 4,700 m Hiking Time: 5–6 hours Accommodation: Kibo Hut Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 6: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut

Wake around midnight for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. Watch the sunrise from the summit before descending back to Kibo Hut for a short rest. Continue down to Horombo Hut for your overnight stay. Elevation: 4,700 m to 5,895 m to 3,720 m Hiking Time: 10–14 hours Accommodation: Horombo Hut Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate – Moshi

After breakfast, descend through lush rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you will receive your summit certificate. Our driver will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi to celebrate your achievement. Elevation: 3,720 m to 1,860 m Hiking Time: 5–7 hours Accommodation: Hotel in Moshi (optional) or Airport Transfer Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Departure
