Day 4: Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut (4,700 m)
Today's trek crosses the alpine desert known as the Saddle, located between Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. Arrive at Kibo Hut in the afternoon, rest, enjoy an early dinner, and prepare for your midnight summit attempt. Hiking Time: 5–6 hours Distance: 10 km (6 miles) Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 5: Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) – Horombo Hut (3,720 m)
Around midnight, begin your summit ascent. Pass Gilman's Point before continuing to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement before descending back to Kibo Hut for a short rest, then continue to Horombo Hut for the night. Hiking Time: 10–14 hours Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 6: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate – Moshi
Descend through the moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you will receive your summit certificate. Our driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved rest and celebration. Hiking Time: 5–7 hours Meals: Breakfast & Lunch Accommodation: Hotel in Moshi
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward journey. If you wish to extend your stay, we can also arrange a Tanzania safari, cultural tour, or Zanzibar beach holiday. Meals: Breakfast
