Day 5 – Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

The Lemosho Route is favoured for its gradual ascent profile, which allows excellent acclimatisation and boasts summit success rates above 90%. With fewer trekkers on the initial days, you'll enjoy solitude in the ancient montane forest before joining the busier southern circuit high on the mountain. The route typically spans 6 to 8 days and is suitable for fit beginners through to experienced high-altitude trekkers.
Day 6 – Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Day 7 – Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Day 8 – Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Around midnight, begin your summit ascent. Reach Stella Point before continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. Day 9 – Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Return to Moshi
After breakfast, descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your official Kilimanjaro summit certificate. Our driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-earned hot shower and celebration. Accommodation: Hotel in Moshi Meals: Breakfast
Day 10 – Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure. If you wish, you can also extend your stay with a Tanzania safari or Zanzibar beach holiday
